Being self-employed, I am often asked "What do you do for a living?".
"I'm a Presentation Specialist" I respond and then typically watch people furrow their brows as they try to figure out what I mean.
"I help people create presentations that deliver a strong impact and create a memorable message" I explain further.
What I usually hear at that point is, "ooh, so you're a graphic designer" and, once again, I have to shake my head and say no.
You see, nothing against graphic designers (some of my best friends work in this wonderfully creative field) but a great presentation needs SO much more than to just look good.
